Cara C. Collins, CPA
Cara began her career as an staff tax accountant with the Minneapolis office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She continued to sharpen her skills as a business, individual and estate tax specialist. After leaving PwC, she joined a regional firm in Plymouth as a tax manager. After many years in Plymouth Cara joined another sole practioner in the Ramsey area before forming Haugtvedt & Associates, LLC, which is known as Collins & Associates, LLC today.
Cara earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Minnesota State Metropolitan State University. She continues her education through the MBT program at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in pursuit of a Master's degree in Taxation. After working in public accounting for an number of years, Cara became a Certified Public Accountant in 2001.
Cara is active in a number of professional organizations including the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Anoka Chamber of Commerce.
Cara enjoys boating, snowmobiling and traveling in her spare time.
